I haven't posted any pictures on here in a long time so here is a new one for you.
Isn't she a cutie? She is such a happy girl!! Her walking is pretty good now and she has started to run some. (not too successfully, but I'm sure it won't be long!) She loves to open and close doors, it makes for a very exciting game!
A note from my hubby (and a high-res rolling video!):
Howdy all! Today a momentous event happen to our El. She figured out the
basic physics of her center of gravity. In baby speak... she rolled
over! Wow! Mommy witnessed her first roll Saturday morning and spent today
training so daddy could see her newly learned skill. Of course dad couldn't
just watch but had to capture it on a small digital camera. Dad also is
learning to use a new video program to render the videos down from their 50+
mb size to a more manageable 3 to 5 mb size. I think the quality is also
better. Remember to turn on your computer speakers so you can hear
the commentary by a couple of proud parents. In other El news, Cara located a daycare near our home that can take El as
Cara will soon be heading back to work. El is beginning to control her
emotions(colic) and can now sit peacefully with a big smile on her face and
enjoy watching other people and things going on. El and dad sat for a whole
hour and watched mom and a friend practice climbing at a climbing gym in
Sacramento. El has also grown tired of the inside of the house and really
digs walks around the house to look at flowers, trees and the sky. Baby
babble has also become a new entertainment pastime. Mom and Dad are trying
to figure out what she is saying but know she's having a good time because
of all the smiles and happy sounds. Hope all is well with your families!
